Time capsule

Sleeping Lessons  The Shins

Hello guys, how you doing ?
So I created this blog only a few weeks ago, and I already feel bored. I think it's probably because it doesn't really look like me, and also because I think it's useless the way it is.
The thing is, last night at school I had a deep, serious, and powerful discussion with a friend of mind about life, future, ambition and happiness. We were on our way to the showers and this discussion came out very easily. So we sat there for one hour and half, talking like grown-ups. To be honest, it was the purest moment of my month. We had the idea to write a time capsule. We'd both write our actual thoughts, our projections of ourself in 5,10 and 20 years, give it to eachother and then wait to meet again. But later I thought: I have a blog, and Internet is one of the thing that is normally going to be there for a long long long time, so why not use this as a time capsule ? Why not write here everything ? My thoughts, my fears, my dream, and my life in general ? I don't think that talking about things I bought is very important for me. Being a beauty/fashion blogger is just not for me. And I think it's better like that. I prefer food and music. (lol) I'm still going to talk about my -way too boring- life, and I think it's going to be more "personal".
And it's probably the reason why this blog is entitled "the exposed diary".

Music crush - Keaton Henson

Hello guys, how have you been lately ?
Basically, weather is getting colder and colder, and I feel more and more tired and sad for no reason. I don't know if I'm the only one feeling especially sad during autumn and winter. (I hope I'm not alone, please tell me you're like me!)
I don't want to bother you with my sad thoughts, it's NOT cool at all! If you don't feel like I do, you need to pop out and dance and sing and laugh! (don't worry, I'm not suicidal either, I still laugh!)
Anyway, this post was supposed to present you my music crush. Music is all my life, basically. I sleep, talk, drink, breathe music. Seriously, I can't imagine where I would have been in my life if music didn't exist. (and food too... Even if I know that if food didn't exist, i wouldn't have been obsessed with my - too high - weight)

SO. Let me introduce you to one of the best piece of talent I've heard. (for broken, lost, misguided, mindfucked, painful or quiet souls)

Keaton Henson is a English folk-indie-rock musicians, and also a poet and visual artist. His songs are simple, but powerful. His music, lyrics, and fragile voice simply get deep into your ears, and souls. It's the kind of music you listen too when you're in a mind-blowing mode, when you want to be alone.
When I listen to him, i just want to hug him and want him to hug me at the same time, and tell me that everything is going to be okay.
He is a pure diamond. In the same way that Bon Iver is (and if you get me started on Bon Iver, I'm never going to end my "he's-basically-my-music-god speech". So don't do that!).
He has two album yet: Dear... , and Birthdays. And both are amazing. The only critic I might do is that both are almost the same, but it's still a pleasure for your ears to listen to them.

So here are a few songs I love, I hope you'll like it as much as I do.
Tell me what you think about it!

A photoshoot called "Rain".

Hello cookies!
Last saturday i shot the pretty Luna. The weather was awful, there was thousands of tourists... But we made it! I asked her to wear a total black style ans she came up with the idea of the black lipstick. It is one of my favourite photoshoot so far because i realised how much I evolved since the start of my "photographic journey".

the pictures are in my other website: http://treizeheuresdouze.blogspot.com

I hope you'll like it! Please tell me what you think :)

(useless post)

Last week Charlotte, a girl I met by facebook asked me if i could do some photos for her agency so as usual I said yes and met her in the "Centre Pompidou" which is an exhibition center. I took a few pictures and she took some pictures of me too (even if I hate being taken in photographs). Here are my two favorites.

A photoshoot called "Boy"

Daria is a fantastic girl I met last summer in Malta. She cut her hair when she was drunk there (with the help of friends) and as she liked it she kept this hairstyle and dyed it in blonde. Her short hair inspired me for a "act like a boy" shoot. I wanted to do something different than my pretty-girls-with-long-hair usual shoots. This is why I sent her an inbox and she quickly accepted. So we went in a stadium with a skatepark and other pitches. I was pretty cool, she came with her best-friend who helped us for some stuffs. Even if we almost got killed by skaters and there were thousands of kids everywhere, I'm proud of the result!

and here are some "backstage" photos with her best-friend:

Life lately.

Hello cookies, sorry I didn't post earlier but I feel really weak and tired this days. I don't know if it's because the weather is getting colder and colder, or if it's because highscool is already killing me, but i don't feel amazing at all.
Anyway, here are some pictures I took with my Iphone during the week. (yeah, food is half my life)

I BOUGHT MYSELF A DUMMY + ACCESSORIZE & FOOD CRUSH

Hello cookies, it's me again! Yesterday, I went to the pharmacy and i bought a dummy. The pharmacist asked me how much years old were the baby and i answered "6 months". So he gave me this lovely blue "Mommy I love you" pacifier. Hahaha, I imagine is face if he knew it was for me! You probably think I'm weird. I can understand... I mean.. I'm seventeen. The reason I bought this is because I'm a very stressed and nervous person sometimes, I constantly need something to chew to calm down or get my mind out of something. I started to eat chewing-gums, but i ended addicted to that and I had to eat 10 (and more) chewing-gums a day, and it is very unhealthy. Yes it is weird to be addicted to chewing-gum, but it is the same as people who bite their nails, or creak their fingers... So I won't be able to get out with my dummy because everyone in the entire city is going to think I'm weird, and I won't be able to use it either at school because my classmate are going to laugh at me so bad, i don't want to explain my problem a thousand times! but at least I will use it at night and at home, which is okay i guess.

I also bought a lot of hair clips like this with flowers, spots, stripes and some others made of pearls. I've never been a girly person but I have the feeling that the girl essence inside of my is growing up by the time. I'm starting to take care of my skin, my hair; my clothes, to wear jewellery... A bunch of stuffs I didn't do before. I have never been a tomboy, far from that, but I never considered myself in a feminine way even if I always loved wearing dresses. I am even happy to realized how much progress I did in my feminization because I really like this flower and pink stuffs.

And here comes the best part of this article: the food part! I found these delicious biscuits a few months ago, but I feel like it is necessary for the development of your culinary path to know about them. On my way to school there is this shop called "HEMA". It is a dutch shop for daily products with very low prices. Food, body care, make-up, stuffs for the house.. everything! But I mostly go there for food, actually. The best thing I found were these amazingly delicious waffles. It is two biscuits stuffed with a delicious caramel-vanilla-cinnamon-butter cream. It is seriously fantastic. I'm sure you'll love it (if you forget about the calories!!!)
This shop only exists in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, France and Luxembourg but if you leave in another country i'm sure that you can find this type of biscuits anyway!

A photoshoot called "Pauline"

Hello cookies! Last saturday I met a very nice girl from Vinted for some pictures in Paris. (Vinted is a website to sell clothes, but as it has a forum I asked if some girls were able to pose the time of a few pictures. She is the first I met, but I planned a lot of other shoots for the upcoming weeks!

If you want to see the pictures, click this link! They are in my photography blog. Hope you'll like it!

Sebo Specific, by Yves Rocher

Hey hey hey! September is back, and it means: start of a new year. And who wants to start the year with a bad skin ? Nobody I guess. So this is why I went to Yves Rocher to look at their products, and as many of them were in sale, I thought it was a good occasion to buy new stuffs for my skins, especially my face which wasn't very great after all the travel I did. I made my choice for two products (+ the make up remover that called me at the checkout). So I bought these two products for a total of 15 euros. Good deal, huh ? I chose the "Deep Cleansing Foam Cream" and a "No Blemish Care".

- The Cleansing Cream: If you expect it to foam, don't buy it because it doesn't at all. But it's a very good cleanser, with little granules inside. These are very good for exfoliating your skin, but I don't think it is good for a daily routine day and night and moreover if you have a sensitive skin. This range of product has another cleanser so I think I'm going to try it for my daily routine and use this one twice or three times a week.

- The Creamy Care: I love it! It is leaving your skin very soft, pleasant to touch. Very light, you can easily use it during sunny days without feeling greasy. But don't use it as a moisturizing cream, it is only here to control your blemishes. If you wan't to moisturize your skin, please add another cream on it. The first one is so light that it won't be heavy, don't worry! They say that the results will appear after three weeks/one month, but actually I can feel it after three days. (I think it is because my skin was terrible!)

I think that after two weeks if the results get better and better I am going to complete the range because there are lots and lots of products! I love it because it doesn't attack my skin as other products do and it is still efficient.

So if you're looking for a skin care for your face I recommend these for you. It is cheap, and good! (But the saleswoman told me that it wasn't for severe acne, just for people with few blemishes.)

Travelling: Dubai - Shopping session

hello again!
So today's post is all about shopping (one of the best things on earth, even if it doesn't beat food yet). When I was in Dubai, I went to the mall for a little shopping session. I didn't have the choice, the mall was right next to my hotel! It was pretty cool, my feet hurt a lot when I came back to my room, which means it was a good day of shopping!

(i'm in love with the short I'm wearing in this picture by the way! I bought it in Shanghai, in a great shop named Lily. I'm telling you that just in case that you planned going there!)

here are all my shopping bags. You can't actually see all of them but I'm sure you can imagine how much there are!

I'm not showing you all the things I bought because most of them are basics, actually. The ones right above are my great deals and favorites of the day.

1: a great dress from New Look in sales that cost me around 15 euros I think. I really love this kind of dresses which emphasize waist. This one reminds me of the movie Mama Mia, for some reason. It's a nice spring/summer dress.

2: a maxi dress as i love it! I bought it at Marks and Spencer for 20 euros. When you will get to know me more you will see that i love maxi dresses. And this one was PERFECT! I love the prints, I love the color, I love the cleavage (even if I don't have one), to be clear I love everything about that dress. It is also a great summer dress. I think I should travel back in time because I bought all my summer dresses in the wrong period.

3: and here goes another summer thing! A cute suit with little lambs in it. I'm not really an "animal person" but i couldn't resist when I saw this one. It was over cute! I perfectly capture me wearing this on a bike cruising the streets of somewhere in the sun. Yeah, I'm sure you can capture yourself too!

4: my lovely heels from New Look for 12 euros each. At this point you can't imagine how much I love sales. This shoes are just so pretty and cheap, I HAD to buy them. (even if I don't especially need this two colors) If other colors were on sale I think I would have buy them all. You never get enough shoes!

The day's favorite: three mini body sprays from Bath & Body Works. First of all, if I could have bought the entire shop I think I would have. I love perfumes, sprays and creams so much... The first body sprays I have ever had were from Victoria's Secret. But as I'm going there only for their sprays I asked myself why not going to a shop made for this ? So I went to B&B W (writing the entire name is too long). It is cheaper than Victoria's Secret for the same quality of products. I took the mini sprays because there was a very good deal and because I couldn't decide which one smelled the best. My favorite one is the "Malibu Heat" one. It smells like summer, beach and cocktails!
I found one the website what it was made of:
  • A west coast blend of juicy pineapple, California oranges and creamy coconut
  • Mid Notes: Orange Blossom, Lily of the Valley, Coconut Water
  • Dry Notes: Creamy Coconut Milk, Vanilla, Sandalwood, Sunny Musk

But if you don't like sugary odors, don't worry! There are plenty other types of fragrances. Whatever your type of fragrance is!

This is all for today, I hope you're ready for the comeback of september! Me I'm not ready at all so I don't think that the beginning of my senior year will be amazing. But I hope yours will be! xx
